Our goal is to enhance the symmetry of your appearance and add balance to your natural features. Treatments take less than 1 hour and provide immediate results. Lip injections are safe, FDA cleared and suitable for men and women ages 18+.
You have two options, dermal lip filler or a lip flip. They both have great qualities but provide a different result. The best way to decide what option would best fit you, is to set up a complementary consultation with our RN cosmetic injection specialist. She will asses the symmetry of your lip and discuss your goals and make the best recommendation to achieve your perfect pout.
What is a lip flip?
The LIP FLIP is something new to the world of injection cosmetics and we are loving the results. We use a neurotoxin such as Botox to enhance the upper lip. Just a few quick injections can help the upper lip relax and roll slightly upward, which allows more of the upper lip to be visible. It is an excellent alternative to fillers for patients who want a more subtle enhancement than fillers provide, or for those who want to enhance the shape of their upper lip with minimal effort.
How does the lip flip work?
To perform a lip flip, our RN cosmetic injection specialist at Pure Lux Medspa in Edima makes a 2-4 teeny-tiny injections just above the upper lip, into the orbicularis oris muscle, which encircles the mouth. This temporarily relaxes the part of the muscle over the upper lip, causing the lip to roll slightly upward so it appears more voluminous and defined. This muscle relaxation can also help smooth vertical lines around the lips.
What are the results like?
Most patients notice the effects within 4-5 days, but it, but full results in about 14 days. The effects lasts up to three to four months.
What products does Pure Lux Medspa use?
We use Botox and Dyport. Both are great options, just depends if you have a prefrence.
Cost?
Lip Flips start at $89. If additional product is needed, $13 per additional unit of product. 90% of our patients don't need extra product.
What is filler made out of?
An injectable hyaluronic acid, naturally occurring substance that is found in every cell of your body that keeps your cells plump and hydrated. Hyaluronic acid holds 1000 times its weight in water, so they are like tiny water balloons. When injected, this substance produces instant volume.
When will I see results?
You will see the results almost immediately. Your lips will be a little swollen at first but you'll see the effects of the fillers pretty quickly.
How Long will my lip filler last?
Great question, and the answer can be hard to answer. Due to every patient being completely different in how their body absorbs the hyaluronic we see on average 6-9 months. However it could be longer, and sometimes shorter.
What products does Pure Lux Medspa use?
We love Restylane and Versa for lip filler. While Juvederm used to be the brand of choice, both Restylane and Versa have taken over. They are more flexible so that when you talk, your lips move fluidly. The difference between the two options depends on how much fullness you are looking for.

Price ranges from $550.00 - $699.00 depending on the product.
